I’m a lifelong fan of Transformers and I love everything about it from G1 all the way through Transformers:Prime and I can’t wait for the next series. I started this blog so that I can write about my passion and have complete control over it and not be limited by Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr or any of the other social media sites. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll be on them too, but this is where I will really express my thoughts and opinions.
Why Hoist?
I have always liked Hoist all the way back to G1. I don’t really know why, I just did. I just know that I was very excited when I heard that there would be a new Hoist figure coming out which I got a soon as I saw it! The bonus is that they created a Spotlight: Hoist comic to be included with the toy. For the past couple of years, I have been going crazy reading TF comics on my iPad so I had read it already, but it was still nice to get a physical comic. I remember having a handful of comics as a kid (I’m pretty sure they are gone) and one of them had Hoist on the cover (I looked it up and it was Transformers #14). Anyway, in the spotlight, Hoist made the comment that he was a maintenance engineer and I thought that was really cool since that is what I do for a living. So, that became the name “engineerhoist”.
